With the weather getting warmer and COVID-19 restrictions
getting looser, flights have become more frequent, and after being unable to
travel for such a long time (it felt long for us anyway), it’s safe to say that
we’re all psyched to travel anywhere, everywhere for however long!
Now to the least fun part of traveling, is the
packing. We don’t know about you, but for us and many that we know, it’s nearly
impossible not to forget something while packing without a list… This is why
we decided to make your lives a tad easier by compiling a list of travel
necessities we swear by.
PS: just for the extra help, we also
added a packing list that you could use to make sure you’re not missing
anything.
Happy travels!
Since it’s hard to take all your skincare with you because of the space they take (and because they might spill), we recommend buying travel-size bottles. Not only are they super handy, but the ones from MINISO come with their own labels so you don’t get mixed up with your products.
Instead of dealing with makeup spillage and having to dig deep to find the eyeliner you want, get a toiletry bag that eliminates all these issues by organizing everything in its place.
Nothing ruins your trip like someone taking your bag by mistake. To avoid that, consider adding tags on your bag with your name and phone number. It also helps you find your bag a lot quicker!
Whether you will be staying on a plane for long hours or visiting a dry country, a facial spray will refresh your skin.
If you like to stay out late or for the whole day and use your phone a lot, make sure you have a charged power bank with you at all times.
You may not be able to find a laundry room in every hotel, and you’re definitely not always in the mood to hand-wash your clothes. So, bring a laundry bag to put all your dirty clothes to wash when you’re back home.
We blame corona. But just in case another pandemic casually starts while you’re abroad, it’s only in good sense to have these.
You should never neglect your skin when you’re traveling! Even when you’re short on time, pack a few of your essentials.
This is an underrated necessity, especially since not all hotels provide you with one.
While many hotels might already have hairdryers, not only are they not as strong but you’re most likely used to yours.
The last thing you want is paying for extra weight or haphazardly throwing random items in your carry-on, to make sure you’re within the weight limit by purchasing a luggage scale.
Countries may have different sockets, and in order to properly charge your phone and use any of your electronics, an adapter will be helpful.
Just to make your life a
little easier, The Avenues Insider team got together to create the ultimate packing
list for you! You can just save it (and print it if you want to be super
careful) to make sure you have an organized bag and a smooth trip!
